A business relationship that has grown over many years is the basis for successful cooperation. The specialist wholesalers Ullner and Ullner have been working together with the Arnsberg-based storage specialist META-Regalbau for more than 35 years. A large number of reference plants in the area of storage equipment have already been successfully implemented - and many more are to follow. This includes static shelving, pallet racking and cantilever racking as well as the META MULTIBLOC mobile racking systems. In its own warehouse, the Paderborn wholesaler also relies on the quality of META and has now efficiently expanded the storage area on an area of 800 m².
Ullner und Ullner is one of the leading wholesalers in East Westphalia. As an all-round supplier for industry and trade, the wholesaler from Paderborn has been offering its customers a versatile, high-quality product range for over 210 years. The wide and deep product range includes steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, fastening technology, hardware, plastics, tools, machines, factory equipment, welding and compressed air technology as well as articles for occupational safety. Under the umbrella of E/D/E, the Paderborn-based specialist dealer cooperates in the Premium Group with leading specialist trading companies throughout Germany.
Due to the recently opened new location for the steel business, storage capacities at the 'Grüner Weg' headquarters in Paderborn were freed up. On an area of 800 m² a new warehouse for occupational health and safety articles and plant equipment was created.
"Above all, the space requirement for the seasonal occupational health and safety articles and the consolidation of the plant equipment products had made the warehouse expansion necessary", explains Jürgen Bickmann, Sales Manager Plant Equipment at Ullner and Ullner. In this newly created storage area, the META shelves on offer, such as the ready-made META SET complete sets for universal use in warehouses, workshops, magazines, sales rooms, etc., are now also stored.

Task
Due to the high technical competence and the deep level of knowledge in the field of META warehouse technology, the employees of Ullner and Ullner were able to carry out the entire planning of the new warehouse equipment independently per p.Con.planner, as they had already done for a large number of customer orders. With this software for room and equipment planning, high-quality and individual 3D planning can be created quickly and easily. META makes this planning program available to its specialist trade customers free of charge.
This warehouse extension is a consistent further development of the existing warehouse, as the areas already used are also efficiently used with the various META warehouse solutions. Ullner and Ullner have thus created a two-storey META CLIP shelving system which, with approx. 650 installed shelves and the 700 dividers used, ensures clear storage of seasonal industrial safety articles. With its extensive accessories, the META CLIP system offers maximum storage possibilities for different goods. The META CLIP system is designed in such a way that it can be extended to two or three-storey shelving systems in conjunction with system platforms. The system platforms as steel construction are planned by META according to customer specifications and manufactured in our own production facilities. Ullner and Ullner were able to efficiently double the storage space for industrial safety articles and make optimum use of the limited space resources.
The META MULTIPAL S pallet rack system is used for the storage of bulky goods, factory equipment and hygiene articles, with which more than 360 additional pallet storage spaces could be created. In addition, Ullner and Ullner use a META MULTISTRONG cantilever racking system for the orderly storage of scaffold components.
The short assembly time of only four days with the help of the company's own fitters clearly demonstrates the competence of the Paderborn wholesaler in the field of META storage technology.
