Car manufacturer Skoda has opened a new branch in the Danish city of Helsinge. The new building houses a showroom as well as a warehouse for spare parts, service kits, tyres and tools. For safe storage, a rack system was required that is flexible and has a large span.
Object: Skoda car dealership Helsinge
Used META products: | META CLIP shelving units |
636 shelves 100 kg for approx. 1500 light small parts
90 shelves 230 kg for approx. 200 heavy parts
META CLIP tyre racks, 250 levels for the storage of around 1500 tyres
over 1300 compartment dividers |
Both small and large car spare parts were to be stored at the new location of the car dealership. Therefore shelves with shelves were used, which are flexible and can be adapted to the respective shelf load. In order to guarantee safety and achieve a uniform appearance, META employees installed the single-storey META CLIP® shelving system. 1,500 small parts can be stowed in it with a shelf load of up to 100 kilograms. For heavy goods, a racking load of 250 kilograms was specified. This means that a total of up to 200 large items can be stored without any problems. In addition, the shelves were equipped with shelf dividers and plastic boxes for optimum structuring of the warehouse. The rear cladding ensures maximum stability.
"It was important for us to choose a professional partner. Morten Mandsberg, owner of Skoda Helsinge, is very satisfied with the cooperation with META.
"We were able to optimally implement the individual vehicle partial storage solutions in cooperation with the Skoda employees and thus create a perfect facility schaffen″, summarises Tim Godsk, Area Sales Manager at META Nordic.
