This project was something very special for us. Together with Schrack Technik SRL, we were able to implement a major logistics project in south-eastern Europe. The requirements evolved continuously during the project phase. It was precisely this dynamic that made the collaboration particularly exciting. Right from the start, we worked in an open, fair and very cooperative atmosphere. Despite increasing complexity, we were able to react quickly at all times and develop suitable solutions thanks to close coordination.

A carefully coordinated combination of different META systems was used for the new central warehouse. The META MULTIPAL pallet racking was planned so that the lower levels could be equipped with wire mesh shelves and shelf dividers for ergonomic manual picking. We also integrated META MULTIPAL cable reel shelving and META CLIP shelving. META MULTISTRONG HEAVY cantilever racking and META MINI-RACK profile storage racking were also used. As the warehouse is located in a region with very high seismic activity, all solutions were fully seismically designed to ensure maximum safety and stability. This combination enables flexible, safe and efficient storage for a wide range of item sizes and weight classes.

The installation time was around five to six weeks. As is usual with projects of this size, there were a few minor challenges that we were able to solve quickly and constructively together with Schrack Technik. Thanks to the close collaboration, clear communication and the high level of technical expertise of everyone involved, the project was completed successfully and on time.

This project is an impressive example of how valuable partnership-based and solution-oriented collaboration is and how it can result in sustainable logistics solutions.
