The project was designed in such a way that returned goods, which are sent back by customers and may be partially contaminated, are consistently separated from the regular warehouse goods.
The returned appliances are transported to the second floor via a vertical conveyor, where they are cleaned and decontaminated. As this area is located in a separate fire protection section, a fire protection door was integrated. This door is networked with the powered conveyor technology and runs synchronously - a real technical challenge that was successfully mastered!

After the incoming goods process has been completed, the appliances are returned to the warehouse and the circulation system via a second vertical conveyor.

The heart of the system is the picking racks with integrated flow lanes offer a storage capacity of around 2,800 containers.
Thanks to the sophisticated concept, the picking routes are significantly shorter and more efficient. The result: a time saving of 45%, measured and documented by the customer.
